You can sign yourself up or sign someone else up as a gift to them. The information is localized to your city and state. The free gifts have no strings attached and no purchase necessary. Each merchant wants to attract new business so instead of advertising dollars, they spend their money on gifts in hopes of gaining new business and word of mouth advertising. All the better for us, we get free birthday gifts!
