Favorite Places to Shop ONline

I have a few websites that I like to visit on a daily basis. Woot and Shnoop both offer deals on a daily basis. The forum discussions are as fun as the savings are. The other site I am having fun visiting is Slickdeals. It lists all the deals that are found on a daily basis. They also have a forum where people discuss their findings and savings. If you like to shop and save money doing it, these sites will entertain you. I personally like a bargain. I get excited to see how much money I can save, it energizes me.

Simple Vacuum Tool

This is a great tip I just heard about.  I can’t believe I didn’t think of this on my own. It is so simple.

We bought a new vacuum, which I love. But it didn’t come with all the tools I used to have. It did come with a few new ones. The tool I miss the most is the long attachment that narrows down to a small thin slit. I am not sure what this tool is called but every vacuum should come with one. Since I don’t have one, I read you can utilize a wrapping paper tube and pinch it at one end while slipping the other end over your vacuum extension. How simple! How easy! This is the way to solve a problem, and a need I really want. Solved without spending anything!

Do you like to read? Do you often search for books online wondering if you found the best deal? I have found the best way to locate your best price including shipping to your location. The website Add All searches book title or author. You enter in your state information and it will list different options for the book you are looking for as well as the cost for shipping adding together for a total price comparison. Along the top of the website you will find links to search for music, movies, magazines and now used books. You never have to wonder if you found the best price. One website will tell you all and provide links to those sites so you can buy right away.

Super Target is Super!

I consider myself thrifty to some extent. When it comes to grocery shopping, I do look at the ads and I clip coupons. I don’t run all over town to get the best prices. Convenience and speed play into a part of the equation.

I have heard and seen that Super Walmart’s have the best prices. We have a few of them in town but they aren’t convenient. So they aren’t my every week shopping spot.

Today, I happened to be near Super Target and I need a few staple items. I was surprised to find their prices were better than my local grocery store as well as being better than Super Walmart. I don’t do a lot of comparison-shopping but when it comes to items we buy all the time, I tend to know the price range of those items. Each of them was significantly cheaper at Super Target. Again, I don’t have one nearby that is convenient so it will not be a weekly trip but when I am going that direction, I will definitely stop in. Besides, I love the dollar spot! Especially when they lower the prices to clear it out for the new items coming in.

You might want to do some comparison-shopping if you have a Super Target in your town. And remember, they put their clearance and sale items at the ends of the isles on the end caps of each section of the store. Those in the know call it perimeter shopping because you have to wander the perimeter of the store to hit all the sale end caps!

If you find something fantastic - do share!
